In 2002 Barnaby joined Retro-Juice Productions Ltd as 'in house' composer. With writer/director Mark Davis and with an eminent client base includes James Blunt, the Corrs, BP & the Aga Khan, Barnaby began writing for a series of diverse commercial projects.
In 2005 Barnaby wrote the music for the Mark Davis/Retro-Juice short film "Plastic". This award winning film has been shown at international film festivals in Brussels, San Francisco, London & Cannes. "Plastic" was awarded the ‘Audience Choice Award’ at the 2006 London International Festival of Science Fiction Film.
Barnaby has gone on to work on numerous Retro-Juice projects, including a series of films for BP (2003-06), shot on location in Africa & Hawaii, "15 1/2 A Dream Design" featuring Kevin McCloud from C4'S "Grand Designs" and TV projects such as "Bike Squad" for Hat Trick (Davis/editor).
In 2008 Davis/Retro-Juice will release their debut feature "Angry Man", staring Christian Slater, (True Romance/Heathers), Executive Producer Gareth Jones (Lock Stock/Withnail & I) With music by Barnaby Robson.
Barnaby has worked as a music consultant on "With or Without You"/Michael Winterbottom/Mirimax and as advisor to the music editor on "Two Brothers"/Jean-Jacques Annaud/Universal.
